At the end of June/beginning of July, Gil and I bought a new home after moving for his job and to be nearer my family. This swing in the front yard caught my attention immediately; I love how aged it is, how simply built it is... but most of all, I love what it symbolizes: home. A place to relax and escape the outside world, a place to kick your feet up and be content with who you are, a place of comfort.
